Rental requirements

Valid driver’s license
Dominican or from your home country, issued at least two years ago. An international permit does not replace the original license.

Minimum age 25
Drivers aged 21 to 24 may rent with a young-driver surcharge of US$10 per day.

Passport or national ID
Identification of the main driver. Visitors present a passport with the entry stamp.

Credit card in your name
A US$300 security hold is placed and released when the vehicle is returned undamaged.

Insurance and fuel
Liability coverage included; full coverage optional. The vehicle is delivered and returned with the same fuel level.

Booking and cancellation
We confirm on WhatsApp. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up by writing to cancelations@globorentacar.com.

Booking deposit
Every booking requires a USD $35.00 deposit. The deposit is refundable only if the booking is cancelled within the first 24 hours after it was made. After that period the deposit is non-refundable.

Credit of the booking fee
The booking fee is credited against the final amount as long as the vehicle is returned on time. If the vehicle is not returned within the agreed window, the fee is not credited and is applied toward the late-return penalty.

Return conditions
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, inside and out, and with the same amount of fuel.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the fuel used will be charged plus an additional USD $25.00 handling fee for the time required to refill it.
